Gruppo Giardini was founded in 1986 by the intuition and willingness of its founder, Alessandro De Francesco.
Its headquarters has always been located in the heart of Tuscany in Pistoia, a city known as the “European Capital of Green”. With more than 150 years of tradition in floriculture, Pistoia presents itself as a large single garden nursery, where more than 2,500 varieties of ornamental plants are cultivated in over 500000 hectares of nurseries. A production that covers the whole range of the sector and that is able to respond, at any time of the year, to any request. Pistoia exports 80% of the plants that we can see in gardens all over Europe.
Gruppo Giardini has its roots in Pistoia and it is here that it becomes a witness and interpreter of the Made in Italy style, specializing in the design, construction and maintenance of gardens around the world.
